Full Stack Developer

Music makes life better, and Linn have been making the world’s best music systems for over 45 years. We are a global Scottish luxury brand, from our legendary turntables to our industry-leading network music players, everything’s designed, made and signed with pride in our custom-built facility just outside Glasgow.

At Linn, everyone makes a difference, so we’re committed to recruiting the best talent around. We’ve found that once people join Linn, they stick around. That’s because we’re passionate about developing our people and providing opportunities for everyone to learn and grow.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Full-Stack Developer to join our ambitious development team, writing software to support our customers, our products and our factory.

The Role:

We’re enthusiastic adopters of tools and techniques that help us deliver better software: we’re advocates of agile development; we practice continuous integration and delivery; our applications are built, tested and hosted in the cloud (AWS).

Ours is a collaborative team where everyone can contribute to our architecture, tools and practices.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • You should have at least a year’s experience building appealing and robust web applications.
  • Experience with C#, JavaScript (using React) or SQL would be handy, as these form the core of our software stack.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • We’d like it if you were already familiar with the tools and languages we use, but your general development skills and practices are more important.
  • You should be able to show us that you’re in the habit of writing tests; that you work hard to get your application architecture right; and that you’re conversant with design patterns and use them to solve problems. What matters most is that you have passion for writing great software.

In Return:

As well as a competitive salary and opportunities for career progression we also offer some fantastic benefits such as:

  • Flexible and home working
  • 32 days annual holidays
