We are currently looking for a Goods In/Out Operator to join our busy Dispatch Team.

The Role

Receive materials and components from our supply chain and dispatch finished products to our customers around the world.

Join our busy Goods In/Out team in the logistics area of our production facility in Waterfoot, where we manufacture our market leading hi-fi equipment.

Goods in: Receive materials and components from our global supply chain at our loading dock, book into our system and pass into our fully automated warehouse system. Use of forklift truck and electric and manual pallet lifters required, so previous experience essential.

Goods out: Pick customer orders from the warehouse, collate and palletise where appropriate and then process shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with all customs and taxation requirements.

Liaise with other departments such as Orders Administration and Production to deal with any issues around scheduling, availability, etc. to ensure dispatch meets requirements.

Manage stock records, ensuring that system reflects what is physically in the warehouse.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • You must be fully computer literate, with good experience of working with MRP / ERP systems.
  • You must have experience with shipping documentation, and understand the requirements needed to dispatch products globally, especially in post Brexit times.
  • You must have forklift truck experience, preferably with a valid licence.

Background Check Requirement

As we are part of the ‘Known Consignor’ scheme, employment will be subject to a background security check.
