We are growing our Electronics team and are seeking a Power Supply Design Engineer to help define and develop our next generation of world class audio products. This is a full-time position in our office on the outskirts of Glasgow.
Skills and Experience
An ideal candidate would have experience of all the following, but we are willing to consider less experienced candidates if they can demonstrate good learning and problem-solving skills.
- Power Supply Topologies
- Flyback
- Forward
- LLC
- Power-factor correction
- Synchronous rectification
- Control theory
- Loop gain modelling and measurement
- Stability analysis and verification
- Magnetics
- Design and specification of custom magnetics
- EMC
- Knowledge of relevant standards
- Techniques for achieving compliance
- Test and verification methods
- Safety
- Knowledge of relevant standards
- Interfacing with external test houses
- PCB layout
