Full-Stack Developer

Linn are looking for a Full-Stack Developer to join our ambitious development team, writing software to support our products, our customers and our factory.

Linn Products design, engineer, and manufacture the best music systems in the world and has been based here in Glasgow for over 40 years. At Linn, everyone makes a difference so we’re committed to finding the best talent around. We’ve found that once people join Linn, they stick around. That’s because we’re passionate about developing our staff, and providing opportunities for everyone to learn and grow.

We’re enthusiastic adopters of tools and techniques that help us deliver better software. We’re advocates of agile development. We practice continuous integration and delivery. Our applications are built, tested and hosted in the cloud.

Linn are not keen on the tightly governed roles common in larger organisations – instead we aim for a collaborative environment where everyone contributes to our architecture, tools and practices.

The Full-Stack Developer should experience building appealing and robust web applications. Any previous experience with C# would also prove handy – alongside Javascript (React/Redux), it forms the core of our software stack.

However, we consider your general development skills and practices more important than your exposure to any specific tools or languages. You should be able to show us that you’re in the habit of writing tests; that you work hard to get your application architecture right; and that you’re conversant with design patterns and use them to solve problems.

If you like to keep up-to-date with what’s happening in the world of software development we’d love to hear all about it. Maybe you like to experiment with new technology. You should definitely understand how things work.

We don’t really mind if you’ve got years of experience behind you or if you’re just starting out. What matters most is that you have passion for writing great software.

  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • Child care vouchers
