The Job

You will work alongside marketing colleagues to create informative, accurate and inspirational copy tailored to each of our end user and B2B customers’ needs. By translating products, features and benefits into customer-centric content, your work will be used across a variety of marketing touchpoints.

What's Involved?

  • Master Messaging: Interpret and deliver brand copy in line with our agreed master messaging. Tailored for both B2B briefing and end user requirements.
  • Trade Communication: Develop and implement a communications framework for each message and delivery format within our network of B2B customers; including email, briefing documents and product launches.
  • Web Copy & Blogging: In collaboration digital marketing colleagues, develop and deliver copy that is optimised for SEO; including keyword research and best practice for responsive platforms.
  • Scripting: Ability to work alongside the wider business to create scripts for presentations, webinars and video content.
  • Training: Collaborate with the training team ensuring training modules adhere to messaging hierarchy and tone of voice documents.
  • Brand Consistency: Have a strong understanding of marketing, ad-driven web copy, proper English and grammar.

The Job

We are excited to be adding to our team and are looking for an enthusiastic and versatile Digital Designer to join the marketing team. The successful candidate will understand that great design goes far deeper than just amazing visuals and strives to take complex problems and interactions, and form these into clear and understandable design solutions that inspire our customers.

You will work alongside Marketing and IT colleagues to create both functional and appealing design features that address our customers’ needs. By translating concepts and creative briefs into customer-centric content designs, you will champion design principles and deliver on-brand assets optimised for digital campaigns across desktop, mobile and email as well as product graphics, social media assets and banner ads that enable Linn to stay ahead of the curve.

What's Involved?

  • Requirement analysis: Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners and marketing
  • Prototyping: Illustrate design ideas using storyboard sketches, wireframes and prototypes. Prepare and present concepts to internal teams and key stakeholders. Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems
  • Interaction Design: Develop rich, interactive UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites functions with a view to carry out usability tests.
  • Interface Design: product interface design, creative work, and production work. Overview of the overall style to design. Building and implementing style guides and design systems, taking the decisions on these to allow other design partners to adhere to fonts, colours and images etc.
  • Optimisation: Based on usability test and feedback carry out design adjustments and review mock ups for an iterative implementation plan.
  • Design Delivery : Provide development ready design assets and detailed guidelines to clearly communicate design requirements during the hand off to the development team
  • Responsive Design: Understand and demonstrate how your designs will translate and adapt across all devices

This will range from building campaign pages, improving mobile usability, delivering layouts based upon supplied designs, improving and enhancing on page elements and choosing future technologies, including deployment and testing.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Building high performance front end applications.
  • Collaborating with designers to build rich user experiences.
  • Writing clean maintainable code.
  • Developing and maintain coding standards and practices.


Skills and Requirements

  • Strong, current CSS, JavaScript, XML and HTML skills.
  • Computing related degree or relevant experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a front-end development role.

  • Creation and management of PPC campaigns to achieve KPI’s and targets
  • Analyse performance and data, looking for trends and opportunities
  • Use a range of in-house reporting tools to deliver insightful performance summaries
  • Using Google analytics to ensure campaigns are targeting their optimum demographics


Other duties may include

Senior Android Developer

We are growing our mobile apps team and are looking for a Senior Android Developer to help develop and drive our next generation music app.

You will be joining a motivated and highly effective team of software developers, developing and maintaining all the code used to control our DSM range of products. Any experience of C#, Xamarin.Android or MVVM would be beneficial, as these technologies form the core of our mobile apps.

Full-Stack Developer

We’re currently looking for a Full-Stack Developer to join our ambitious development team, writing software to support our customers, our products and our factory.

Senior Electronics Engineer

Linn Products Ltd are world leaders in high performance audio design. Our product range spans the entire audio chain and we take pride in developing unique engineering solutions that push the boundaries of domestic audio reproduction.

We are growing our Electronics team and are seeking an innovative, motivated engineer to help define and develop our next generation of world class audio products. This is a full-time position in our office on the outskirts of Glasgow.

You will have significant commercial experience (ideally at least 10 years) that demonstrates a flair for innovative design and creative problem solving.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Researching and developing new technology platforms
  • Designing electronics hardware solutions for our extensive product range
  • Collaborating closely with other disciplines, including Software, Mechanical Design, and Acoustics
  • Providing technical leadership, ideally owning the technology roadmap for a particular area
  • Mentoring our less experienced engineers
  • Contributing to our continuous improvement process


You should be confident in both analog and digital design, specifically:

  • Low-noise, low-distortion analog circuit design
  • High-speed digital design (e.g. DDR3, PCIe)
  • A-D and D-A conversion techniques
  • FPGA system design (VHDL/Verilog)


Ideally you will also have good working knowledge of some of the following:

  • DSP techniques and algorithms
  • Switched-mode power supply design
