The Job

We are excited to be adding to our team and are looking for an enthusiastic and versatile Digital Designer to join the marketing team. You will work alongside Marketing and IT colleagues to create both functional and appealing design features that address our customers’ needs. By translating concepts and creative briefs into customer-centric content designs, you will champion design principles and deliver on-brand assets optimised for digital campaigns across desktop, mobile and email as well as product graphics, social media assets and banner ads that enable Linn to stay ahead of the curve.

What's Involved?

  • Requirement analysis: Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners and marketing
  • Prototyping: Illustrate design ideas using storyboard sketches, wireframes and prototypes. Prepare and present concepts to internal teams and key stakeholders. Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems
  • Interaction Design: Develop rich, interactive UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites functions with a view to carry out usability tests.

The Role

Deliver sustainable sales growth for the company across Linn’s network of specialist retailers, working in partnership with them to create winning business plans that deliver value for both businesses. Work closely with the Direct Market Sales Leader to support the overall Linn sales strategy at a local level

Key Accountabilities

  • Create and manage a pipeline of sales prospects that deliver short, medium, and long term sales growth for every retailer.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Implement Linn’s Growth Partnership Agreement across the retailer network.
  • Work closely to understand each retailer’s individual business needs and add value by providing useful insight as to how they can grow their sales with Linn.

Full-Stack Developer

We’re currently looking for a Full-Stack Developer to join our ambitious development team, writing software to support our customers, our products and our factory.

You should have at least a year’s experience building appealing and robust web applications. Any experience with C#, JavaScript (using React) or SQL would be handy, as these form the core of our software stack.

We’re enthusiastic adopters of tools and techniques that help us deliver better software: we’re advocates of agile development; we practice continuous integration and delivery; our applications are built, tested and hosted in the cloud (AWS).

With a passion for audio, a flair for innovative design, and the desire to push the boundaries of audio performance, you will have at significant relevant industrial experience, as you will be expected to lead technology roadmaps and mentor junior engineers.

As Electronics Design Engineer you will be confident in both analog and digital design, specifically:

  • Op-amp circuits and filters

We are a precision engineering company specialising in the design and manufacture of high end music systems. Our customers expect the very best when it comes to interacting and controlling their music system and they trust us to deliver. We are building our next generation of music systems and are seeking world-class software developers to help us create a brand new, market leading, UI to control them.

You will be joining a small but highly effective team, our core language is C#. We advocate agile practices; we practice continuous integration and we love adopting new tools and techniques to improve the quality of our software. Software Engineer

Linn design, engineer, and manufacture the world's finest music systems in Glasgow, Scotland.

We’re looking for a smart, motivated developer to join the team responsible for our streaming platform. This is a full-time position in our office on the outskirts of Glasgow.

We develop and maintain all code used on our DS (Digital Streamer) range. This ranges from device drivers and codecs to network protocols (HTTP, UPnP, many others), to on-board UI. The vast majority of work is in C++. This role will initially be focused on the network protocols layer but there is scope to evolve the role to suit the right candidate. Almost all code is cross-platform so most development will be on a desktop platform of your choice.

We’re a small team so every engineer gets to make a big difference and sees their code in shipping products, used by a highly engaged user-base.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong C++ programmer
  • Experience both using and implementing networking protocols
