The best way to listen to music at home, Klimax DSM is a digital music player which plays everything and sounds amazing.

Browse your music library using an iPad for the best experience, choosing albums by cover and creating playlists with your favourite songs or tracks. Get instant access to new music via internet radio and listen to any online music services on a music player which puts quality first.

With analogue and digital inputs, you can also connect any movie, games or audio source and make it sound incredible.

Any sources you connect to your DSM System via HDMI will sound better as they will benefit from the superior DAC and custom Linn up-sampling of the audio. Any video content on the HDMI signal will be passed through to the TV or output device connected via the HDMI out. Audio content will also be automatically passed through if the DSM is in Sleep mode.

With HDMI inputs, you can now play back SACD (Super Audio CD) and DVD-A (DVD Audio) discs by connecting the disc player to your DSM System. SACD content will be down-sampled to 176.4 K or 88.2 k and multi-channel audio down-mixed to stereo but this does allow high-quality playback of discs which cannot currently be ripped for streaming.

Analogue and digital sources use their own dedicated and isolated volume control circuits. Analogue volume control is used for analogue sources; digital volume control is used for digital sources. This shortens the signal path and reduces any potential effects that an analogue volume control circuit might have on the audio quality of digital playback, and vice versa.

Klimax 350A is a fully integrated Aktiv loudspeaker, with six channels of Linn's patented Chakra amplification expertly housed within the sculpted cabinet and an Aktiv Servo Bass system which precisely measures and auto-corrects the output to produce extremely accurate and musical bass performance.

Delivering an unprecedented level of clarity and detail, Linn’s highest performing fully integrated multi-channel loudspeaker range is the ultimate stereo or surround sound playback solution for music and movies.

The range comprises three fully integrated Aktiv models with built-in power amplification: 350A Floor-stander, 340A Centre Channel and 345 Bass Re-inforcement loudspeaker (345). A passive variant of the Floor-stander (350) is also available.

The 3K Driver Array gives outstanding high frequency reproduction and allows greater flexibility when positioning the loudspeakers. The precision machined die-cast array houses the mid-range, high-frequency and super high-frequency drive units for wider dispersion, precise high-frequency response and single point source accuracy, delivering a consistently natural sound.

The Aktiv Servo-Driven Bass System powers the bass drive units. The precise motion of each unit is measured, compared against the original input signal, and immediately corrected to ensure that the output perfectly matches the input, resulting in an extremely accurate and musical bass performance.

All Aktiv models benefit from Linn’s ‘Silent Power’ amplification technology, Chakra, which offers significantly increased power, reliability and efficiency, whilst producing less heat and distortion.

Advanced pressure-formed natural laminate cabinets provide an exceptionally rigid construction with ultra-low resonance properties. High grade real wood veneers are used throughout and are available in special high gloss finishes and bespoke colours to perfectly complement any living space.
