Logistics Operator

A rare opportunity for a Logistics Operator has arisen in our busy Goods In / Out team.

Key responsibilities:

Pick, prepare and ship customer orders.

Create appropriate shipping and customs documents.

Check and process export documentation.

Ensure deliveries are processed in accordance with company procedures.

Use of computers and automated stock system.

Process parts for external suppliers.

Perform cyclical stock counts where appropriate.

Essential:

Full training will be given but attention to detail is essential, as is both teamwork and the ability to work autonomously.

As Linn operates within the Known Consigner Scheme all members of the Material Handling team must have a full, unbroken 5-year employment history and will have to go through a basic disclosure check

Advantageous:

Current counterbalance forklift licence.

Despatch / export experience.

Knowledge of Stock control systems.
